About Tasha E. Turay, M.Ed., LPCMH — Forensic & Immigration Evaluator
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families across clinical, crisis, and school-based settings. My clinical background spans child and adolescent mobile crisis intervention, comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, and trauma-informed care — experience that directly informs the precision and thoroughness I bring to forensic evaluation work.
I founded EmpowerED Pathways, LLC to expand access to high-quality, culturally responsive psychological evaluations for individuals navigating some of the most high-stakes legal and humanitarian processes of their lives. I specialize in immigration psychological evaluations — including hardship waiver (I-601/I-601A), U-Visa, VAWA, and T-Visa assessments — as well as PTSD evaluations using the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS-5) for veterans and civilians. Each evaluation is conducted with the rigor, objectivity, and documentation standards required for legal proceedings.
I work closely with immigration attorneys, veteran service organizations, and legal advocates to ensure that every evaluation I produce is clinically sound, legally defensible, and delivered in a timely manner. If you are an attorney or advocate seeking a qualified evaluator for your client, I am available for consultation to discuss case fit and timeline.
